| OE5 Mail Account Setup

- Open Outlook Express
- Select "Tools."
- Select "Accounts."
- Select the "Mail" Tab
- Click the "Add" button.
- Enter your name in the "Display
name" field.
Note: The display
name is the name that people will see when
they receive a mail from you. The name does
not have to match the e-mail username.

- Select "I already have an email
address that i'd like to use."
- Enter your full e-mail address in the
"E-mail address" box.
- Click the "Next" button
|
- In the section for "My incoming
mail server..." select POP3.
- Your mail server address will be choosemail.net.
|
- Your "Account Name" would
be all of your email address
- Enter your password into the "Password"
box.
- Put a check in the "Remember"
password box.
- Click the "Next" button.

- Click the "Finish" button.
|
- You must Set the outgoing mail server
Authintication
- Tools, Accounts, Select the Mail
tab and click Properties
|
- Select My server requires authentication
- Click the settings button
|
- Make sure that the Use same settings
as my incoming mail server is selected.
